Jawa Barat Provincial Government Receives 2023 EPSS Award

On Monday, December 4, 2023, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) held a Dissemination of 2023 Census of Agriculture Phase I Results event. The event took place at the Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place Hotel, Sudirman, Jakarta.

During the event, the Anindhita Wistara Data Award was also given as a form of BPS appreciation for the commitment and achievements of ministries/agencies/local governments in the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS).

The Anindita Wistara Data Award is a form of appreciation to the regions from the Central Statistics Agency for the performance of sectoral data management carried out by the regions.  For the Province, only 6 out of 38 (15.8 percent) provinces received the award. Of course this is a year-end gift for the Jawa Barat Provincial Government which has made the award for the umpteenth time. Meanwhile, there were only 28 regencies/cities throughout Indonesia that received the award. This means that Jawa Barat reached 53.6 percent of regencies/cities that received the award nationally.

The Jawa Barat Provincial Government, together with 15 (fifteen) Regency / City Governments in Jawa Barat received awards as Work Units with good Statistical Development Index (IPS) Values. The 15 regencies/municipalities are Bogor, Cianjur, Bandung, Ciamis, Garut, Cirebon, Majalengka, Sumedang, Bogor Municipality, Bekasi Municipality, Depok Municipality, Bandung Municipality, Sukabumi Municipality, Cirebon Municipality, and Banjar Municipality.
