Simultaneous Consultation (Konserda) of PDRB of Regency / City in Jawa Barat in 2024

Ahead of the release of the 2023 Regency/City GRDP figures, BPS Jawa Barat Province held an online Concurrent Consultation (Konserda). This event took place for two effective days on February 6-7, 2024.

This activity was carried out as a medium for intensive discussion towards convergence of economic growth rates between the Regency / City and Jawa Barat Province. In addition, this activity was intended as a means of calibrating and testing the quality of GRDP data.

This consultation session invited all GRDP calculators from the BPS nerwilis team from all districts/cities in West Java. In the opening of the event, the Head of Jawa Barat Province BPS, Marsudijono advised all Heads of Regency/City BPS in Jawa Barat to be able to explain economic growth figures down to the level of business fields and their components.

Finally, he conveyed to all Konserda participants to strengthen coordination and collaboration, both internal and external, maximize sectoral statistics, utilize big data, and increase insight in the field of neraca.
