February 2008 To Be Inflation Of 1.09 Percent On Seven City In Jawa Barat

The combined seven cities in Jawa Barat (Bandung, Tasikmalaya, Cirebon, Bekasi, Bogor, Sukabumi and Banjar) experienced inflation of 1.09 percent in February 2008, with inflation in 2008 (January-February) reaching 2.48 percent and year-on- year over the last twelve months of 6.71 percent. Of the seven groups expenditure six groups experienced inflation, the highest occurred in the health group 5.08 percent, food group 2.55 percent, clothing 1.25 percent, beverages, cigarettes & tobacco 0.81 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel 0.12 percent, education, recreation & sports 0.12 percent, while transportation, communication & financial services group in stable condition.
