March 2009 Occurred Inflation of 0.20 Percent on Composite Seven Cities in Jawa Barat

Year 2009 (January-March) of 0.00% means that the CPI in March 2009 was the same as the CPI in December 2008. Monthlyly in January 2009 there was a deflation of 0.28 percent next February 2009 and March 2009 inflation stood at 0.08 percent and 0.20 percent, respectively. In the last twelve months, there was inflation of "year on year" (March 2009 to March 2008) of 7.45 percent. In 2009, five expenditure groups experienced inflation, the highest in the clothing group which was 1.54 percent followed by health group 1, 15 percent, food, beverages, cigarettes & tobacco group 0.79 percent, education, recreation & sports 0.13 percent and transport, communication & financial services by 0.06 percent while the other two experienced deflation , water, electricity, gas & fuel by 0.20 percent and foodstuffs by 0.09 percent.
