Farmer's Term of Trade and Grain Producer Priceon in Jawa Barat on May 2009

In May 2009, the NTP Joint Province of Jawa Barat was 96.10 or decreased by 0.15 percent from NTP in April 2009 of 96.25. This is due to an increase in the Paid Farmers' Index (IB) by 0.48 percentage points higher than the increase in the Farmer Accepted Index (IT) by 0.33 percent. 􀀻 Farmer Term of Trade (NTP) for each sub-sector was recorded 110.63 for Fisheries sub-sector (NTP-Pi), 106.33 for subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-Pr), 99.05 for Horticulture subsector (NTP-H), 97.87 for Livestock sub- NTP-Pt) and 90.35 for the Rice and Palawija subsectors (NTP-P). 􀀻 In May 2009, inflation occurred in rural areas of Jawa barat by 0.43 percent influenced by 1.11 percent increase in Food Group, Housing 0.78 percent, Clothing by 1.35 percent, Health by 1.04 percent, and Education, Recreation and Sports by 1.83 percent , while Food and Transportation and Communications Group fell by 0.10 percent and 0.47 percent respectively compared to April 2009.
