Economic Growth of Jawa Barat in Fourth Quarter 2009

Entering the fourth quarter of 2009, the Economic Growth Rate (LPE) of Jawa Barat as measured by the increase of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) against the previous quarter (qtq) of 1.13 percent. The highest growth was achieved by the LGA sector by 7.40 percent, followed by the construction sector by 5.40 percent, and the third position with 4.12 percent growth occupied by the mining and quarrying sector, while the lowest growth was in the agricultural sector minus 6, 97 percent. In year on year (yoy), that is when compared to fourth quarter of 2008, growth of PDRB in fourth quarter of 2009 reached 6,12 percent. The highest yoy growth was attained by the LGA sector of 27.86 percent, while the lowest growth was in the manufacturing sector at minus 1.81 percent. LPE without oil / gas in the fourth quarter of 2009 reached 5.93 percent, lower than the overall growth of the PDRB of 6.12 percent.
