March 2010 Deflation Of 0.19 Percent In Jawa Barat

March 2010 CPI Combined Jawa Barat (CPI 2007 = 100) covering 7 cities of Bandung City, Kota Cirebon, Tasikmalaya City, Bekasi City, Bogor City, Sukabumi City and Depok City experienced deflation of 0.19 percent. During the last twelve months (March 2010 to March 2009) or "year on year" inflation occurred inflation of 2.99 percent. March 2010, one expenditure group experienced deflation of the foodstuff group by 1.28 percent, while six other groups experienced inflation, the highest occurred in the clothing group of 0, 45 percent followed by housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel 0.24 percent, transportation, communication & financial services 0.12 percent, health group 0.11 percent food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco 0.10 percent and group education, recreation & sports 0.01 percent.
