April 2011 Happened A Deflation Of 0.54 Percent in Jawa Barat

April 2011 CPI Combined Jawa Barat (CPI 2007 = 100) covering 7 cities of Bandung City, Cirebon City, Tasikmalaya City, Bekasi City, Bogor City, Sukabumi City and Depok City experienced deflation of 0.54 percent. Inflation in 2011 up to April (year to date inflation) reached 0.00 percent and means during the last twelve months (April 2011 to April 2010) Combined Jawa Barat experienced year-on-year inflation of 5.40 percent. In April 2011 the deflationary spending group was the group foodstuffs of 2.34 percent, while six other groups experienced inflation, highest in clothing category by 0.43 percent followed by health group 0.16 percent, transport, communication & financial services 0.06 percent, housing, water, electricity , gas & fuel.
