Economic Growth Of Jawa Barat in Quarter III/2011

Economic growth rate (LPE) of GDP in quarter III / 2011 compared to GRDP III / 2010 (y on y) experienced growth of 6.37 percent. In terms of business field, year on year growth was driven by an increase in all sectors except agriculture and mining and quarrying sectors which declined by 4.57% and (5.02%) respectively. In terms of usage, growth in yoy was driven by growth in household consumption, including non-profit consumption (5.97%), government consumption (1.55%), PMTB (13.93%) and exports (8.40%). In quarter III quarter quarter quarter quarter quarter quarter quarter quarter quarter IIIQ quarter, QEQ recorded a positive growth of 2.99 percent. In this quarter all sectors experienced positive growth. The highest LPE in this quarter was achieved by trade, hotel and restaurant sector at 6.10 percent. In terms of use, growth occurs in almost all components except inventory changes. Household consumption including non-profit institutions grew by 2.80%; government consumption 16.87%; PMTB 5.27%; and exports by 1.54%. Jawa Barat's GDP at current prices in Q3 / 2011 reached Rp.221.53 trillion, while at 2000 constant prices reached Rp.87.89 trillion. From the business side, the three main sectors are manufacturing industry sector (36.20%), trade-hotel-restaurant sector (23.53%), and agriculture sector (12.25%) to Jawa Barat economic structure in quarter III 2011. In terms of usage, most of Jawa Barat Province GRDP is used for household consumption including non-profit institutions with a role of 59.12 percent, followed by export components and PMTB, each taking portions of 37.33 and 18.76 percent.
