Jawa Barat Farmer Exchange Rate January 2012 was 108.51 Or Increased 0.31 Percent

Farmers Term of Trade (NTP) of Jawa Barat in January 2012 was recorded at 108.51 or an increase of 0.31 percent compared to NTP December 2011. The index received by farmers (IT) increased 1.05 percent higher than the index paid Farmers ) which rose by 0.74 percent. From the five subsectors of agriculture, NTP-R sub-sector of 117.75 is the highest in January 2012. In the second rank of NTP Horticulture Sub-sector (NTP-H) 114.52 followed by NTP Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 112 , 67, NTP of Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 106,48 and lowest NTP Livestock sub-sector (NTP-Pt) 97,67. January 2012 inflation occurred in rural areas of Jawa Barat by 0.87 percent. Seven groups of expenditures simultaneously experienced inflation, the highest occurred in the foodstuff category of 1.02 percent, followed by 0.92 percent finished food, housing 0.73 percent, clothing 0.67 percent, transportation & communication 0.56 percent, health 0.33 percent and education, recreation & sports group 0.32 percent.
