Jawa Barat Farmer Term of Trade May 2012 Up 107.33 Or Rise 0.10 Percent

Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) Jawa Barat in May 2012 was recorded at 107.33 or increased 0.10 percent compared to NTP April 2012. This is caused by the index received by farmers (IT) increased by 0.32 percent while the Index paid farmers (IB) rose by 0.22 percent. þ Of the five agricultural sub-sectors, four of them experienced an increase in NTP, namely NTP Livestock Subsector rose the highest of 0.56 percent from 97.93 to 98.47 followed by NTP Subsector of Smallholder Plantation Estate increased 0.37 percent from 117.37 to 117.80, NTP Horticultural Crops Sub-sector rose 0.22 percent from 116.98 to 117.24, and NTP Fisheries Sub-sector rose 0.03 percent from 112.74 to 112.78, while NTP Food Crop Subsector decreased NTP by 0.02 percent 103.36 to 103.34.
