Jawa Barat Economic Quarter II-2013 Grows 6.13 Percent

Economy of Jawa Barat which is measured by the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in Quarter II-2013 reaches Rp. 259.39 trillion, while the GDP at constant 2000 prices reached Rp. 96.20 trillion. Economic growth in Jawa Barat in the second quarter of 2013 compared to Quarter I-2013 increased by 2.78 percent (q-to-q). In terms of business field, the growth is supported by all sectors except Agricultural Sector; and the Mining-Excavation Sector. The highest growth was generated by the Construction Sector at 7.95 percent. In terms of usage, positive growth occurred in all components of household consumption, including non-profit institutions (1.17%), government consumption (30.78%), PMTB (3.89%), inventory change (5.84%) , exports (3.45%) and imports (4.41%).
