July 2013 Jawa Barat Inflation of 3.87 Percent

July 2013 IHK Combined Jawa Barat covering 7 cities of Bandung, Cirebon City, Tasikmalaya City, Bekasi City, Bogor City, Sukabumi City and Depok City experienced an increase in index. CPI in July 2013 was 143.21 higher compared to the June 2013 CPI of 137.88, thus inflation of 3.87 percent. The year-to-date inflation from January to July 2013 is 8.29 percent and year-on-year inflation over the last twelve months (July 2013 to July 2012) was 9.75 percent. Of the seven expenditure groups, which experienced the highest inflation were Transportation, Communication & Financial Services Group of 11.94 percent, followed by the Foodstuffs Group at 6.04 percent, Food, Beverages, Cigarette & Tobacco Group by 1.11 percent, Group Health by 0.55 percent, Education, Recreation & Sports Group by 0.44 percent, Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & Fuel Group by 0.31 percent, and the smallest inflation occurred in the Clothing Group by 0.12 percent.
