Trends of Poverty of Jawa Barat Province March 2018

In March 2018, the number of poor people (population with per capita expenditure per month below the poverty line) in Jawa Barat was 3.616 million (7.45 percent). This number has decreased by 0.38 percent compared to the situation in September 2017 and decreased 1.26 percent compared to March 2017. The poverty line of Jawa Barat in March 2018 was Rp. 367,755 per capita per month. This has increased by 3.69 percent compared to the conditions in September 2017 and 6.73 percent compared to the conditions in March 2017. In March 2018, the role of food commodities towards the Poverty Line still dominated compared to non-food commodities. Food Poverty Line Contribution to the Poverty Line is 72.48 percent.
