Labor Force Situation in Jawa Barat Province February 2018

Working age population in Jawa Barat is estimated as 35,68 million people, increased by 632 thousand people (1,80 per-cent) compared to February the previous year. Among that number, 22,77 million of them are classified as labor force. The Febru-ary 2018 labor force increased by 0,57 percent of the 2017 labor force totaling 2,64 million people. Thus the Labor Force Paticipat-ing Rate (TPAK) in February 2018 amounted to 63,82 percent, down from TPAK a year earlier which reached 64,60 percent.Jawa Barat unemployement rate in February 2018 reached 8,16 percent, decreased by 0,33 percentage point from Febru-ary 2017.
