Producer Price Statistics for Rural Jawa Barat 2018

The price of agricultural products at the farm level is the transaction price that is created after the farmer bargains with collectors in agricultural lands, gardens, beaches, markets, large traders or with retail traders in rural markets. Prices are formed based on supply or the amount of product availability in the market, if the price is abundant below the average and vice versa the price will be high when the stock decreases. For agricultural products that are thick with seasonality, prices tend to fluctuate. The publication of Producer Price Statistics for Rural Jawa Barat 2018 is the fourth publication of the BPS Jawa Barat Province which presents data on the prices of producers of agricultural products produced by rural households from several selected commodities in the food crops, horticulture, plantation, livestock subsectors and fisheries. One of the outputs that optimizes the results of the Rural Price Survey which is conducted monthly in 18 Regencies in Jawa Barat Province, namely Bogor, Sukabumi, Cianjur, Bandung, Garut, Tasikmalaya, Ciamis, Kuningan, Cirebon, Majalengka, Sumedang, Indramayu, Subang, Purwakarta, Karawang , Bekasi, Bandung Barat and Pangandaran.
