Producer Price Statistics of Paddy in Jawa Barat Province 2020

Grain as the final product of the agricultural sub-sector of food crops, has a strategic position as the main food for the majority of the population of Jawa Barat. The selling price of unhulled rice is very dependent on the quality of grain that is transacted by farmers, starting from the moisture content, the vacuum content or the dirt content. In connection with this, the government sets HPP (Government Purchase Price) of unhulled rice both at the farmer level and at the milling level, as one of the policies so that farmers get an adequate profit.BPS-Statistics of Jawa Barat Province routinely monitors the price of unhulled rice through the Grain Producer Price Survey, which is spread across 18 regencies. For optimization, we compile Producer Price Statistics of Paddy in Jawa Barat Province 2020 which presents data in series from 2017 to 2020. Various information such as the development of Harvest Dried Unhulled Grain (GKP), Milled Dry Grain (GKG) at the farmer and milling level, farmer profiles based on the use of unhulled rice varieties, the area of ​​land controlled, the status of land ownership, the conditions of production, the location of the transaction, the development of the harvest and the estimated percentage of cutting are presented in this publication.
