Social service BPS Province and District/City of Jawa Barat Natural Disaster Victims

27 to 28 September 2016. The Chairman of Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) BPS West Java Province Ida Farida Bachdi along DWP board BPS West Java Province and representatives of BPS BPS Garut and Sumedang Regency visited social service and relief to victims of natural disasters in Garut and Sumedang. In Garut group was received by the Vice Regent of Garut Helmi Budiman in 0611 Garut District Military Command Headquarters, had the opportunity to present and former Head of BPS RI Suryamin and Mrs. Ipop Suryamin. While in Sumedang, the group was received by the Sumedang Regent Eka Setiawan, and presidential staff Teten Masduki, who was in the refugee camps of earthquake victims in GOR Tadjimalela.

This activity is one of a series of activities Day National Statistics (HSN) BPS West Java Province to ease the burden of the victims of natural disasters and provide motivation for them to be patient in facing this natural disaster. The delegation handed over a sum of money and foodstuffs and used clothes donated by the entire BPS Regency / City in West Java and Jakarta BPS.

Hopefully, this activity is helpful to the victims of natural disasters in Garut and Sumedang.
