Jawa Barat Farmers Exchange Rate in February 2008 fell 2.07 percent compared to January 2008, from 118.68 to 116.22. NTP Jawa Barat in February 2008 fell 7.50 percent against NTP in February 2007 (year-on-year). This is due to a decrease in the rice sub-group by 11.44 percent which also affects the agricultural product price index (down by 1.90 percent), while the prices of goods and services consumed by households increased by 5.61 percent and also for agricultural production an increase of 8.80 percent [in particular a 26.86 percent increase in other costs], causing the price index paid by farmers to increase by 6.63 percent. In February 2008, Jawa Barat Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) was recorded 116.22 or down 2.07 percent compared to NTP in January 2008 which reached 118.68.
