Development Of Farmers Exchange Rate, And Product Prices Mei 2008 In Jawa Barat

The May 2008 NTP calculations released on July 1, 2008 begin using the base year 2007 (2007 = 100). This new NTP calculation includes 5 subsectors, namely Rice and Palawija sub-sectors, Smallholder Plantation (TPR), Horticulture, Livestock and Fishery. In Jawa Barat in May 2008, Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for each subsector was recorded 88.65 for the Rice and Palawija sub-sector (NTP-P), 105.48 for the Smallholder Estate (NTP-Pr) subsector, 100.40 for the Horticulture subsector, 96.39 for Livestock subsector (NTP-Pt) and 103.07 for fisheries sub-sector (NTP-Pi). For May 2008, NTPp was recorded at 94.18 or up by 1.43 percent from NTP in April 2008 which was recorded 92.85, this was influenced by the increase of Index received by Farmers (IT) and Paid Index of farmers (IB) respectively by 2.53 percent and 1.09 percent
