Consumer Price Index/Inflation At The Composite Seven Cities in Jawa Barat on July 2009 Inflation Occurring 0.38 Percent

July 2009, CPI Composite Jawa barat (CPI 2007 = 100) covering 7 cities of Bandung City, Cirebon City, Tasikmalaya City, Bekasi City, Bogor City, Sukabumi City and Depok City experienced inflation of 0.38 percent Thus seven months during in 2009 (January-July) there was inflation of 0.23 percent, successive monthly inflation in January 2009 deflation occurred by 0.28 percent next February 2009 and March 2009 inflation respectively by 0.08 percent and 0.20 percent, April again deflation of 0.23 percent and the last three months of May, June and July respectively inflation by 0.02 percent, 0.06 percent and 0.38 percent. Starting the 2009/2010 academic year, four expenditure groups experienced inflation where the highest occurred in the education, recreation & sports group by 1.49 percent followed by the materials group food, beverages, cigarettes & tobacco 0.13 percent and housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel 0.02 percent, while two expenditure groups experienced deflation ie clothing and transport groups, communications & financial services were respectively 0.74 percent and 0.08 percent, while the healthcare group did not change CPI stable at 114.47.
