February 2012 Jawa Barat Deflation occurred by 0.01 Percent

February 2012, CPI Combined Jawa Barat covering 7 cities of Bandung City, Cirebon City, Tasikmalaya City, Bekasi City, Bogor City, Sukabumi City and Depok City experienced deflation when compared to the January 2012 CPI of 0.01 percent. Inflation for 2012 (year to date inflation) reached 0.79 percent. Jawa Barat Composite Inflation over the last twelve months (February 2011 to February 2012 or year on year) of 3.11 percent. Of the seven household expenditure groups, five groups experienced inflation, the highest in clothing by 0.63 percent, followed by food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco group at 0.35 percent, health group 0.15 percent, housing, water, electricity , gas & fuel 0.14 percent, and transportation, communication & financial services 0.05 percent, while the two groups of foodstuffs and education, recreation and sports category experienced deflation of 0.56 percent and 0,01 percent.
