Abstract

Farmers’ Terms of Trade (FTT) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (IT) to the price index paid by farmers (IB).
FTT is one of the indicators to see the level of purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. FTT also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs.
FTT in Jawa Barat on April 2025 decreased by 0.95 percent compared to March 2025, from 113.10 to 112.03.
The price index of agricultural production (IT) decreased by 0.40 percent and the price index of goods and services consumed by farmers (IB) increased by 0.55 percent.
Agricultural’s Terms of Trade (ATT) in West Java in April 2025 decreased by 0.58 percent, while the Cost of Production and Capital Goods Index (BPPBM) increased by 0.18 percent.
