Poverty Analysis of Jawa Barat Province 2018

The problem of poverty is one of the fundamental problems that is the center of government attention. One important aspect to support the Poverty Reduction Strategy is the availability of accurate and targeted poverty data. This publication explains the methodology for calculating the poverty level used by BPS and analysis of poor population / households. The analysis carried out includes the development of poverty levels in Jawa Barat Province, poverty depth and severity index, and expenditure inequality. The poverty data presented in this publication is the result of processing the March 2018 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas).
