Democracy Portrait of Jawa Barat Province 2019

Since 2007, the Government has started trying to measure the development of democracy in each province. After making various improvements, Bappenas and the Ministry of Home Affairs then compiled the Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) 2009. In 2010, funded by UNDP, it was finally agreed to become the benchmark for the preparation of the next IDI. BPS-Statistics was appointed as the coordinator for data collection in the preparation of the IDI. In 2011, the 2010 IDI calculation was re-implemented which was coordinated by the Kemenkopolhukam in collaboration with BPS, Ministry of Home Affairs and Bappenas using domestic financial sources. Every year the IDI is compiled to see the dynamics of democracy in each province in Indonesia. For this reason, BPS-Statistics of Jawa Barat Province compiled a publication on the portrait of democracy with the title "Democracy Portrait of Jawa Barat Province 2019".
