Analysis of the Results of the Covid-19 Impact Survey on Entrepreneur in Jawa Barat Province (Period 12-23 January 2020)

Covid-19 pandemic that has been taking place since the beginning of 2020 has had an impact on changes in the social order of life and decreased economic performance in most countries in the world, including Indonesia, including West Java, which is one of the economic centers. The decline in Jawa Barat's economic performance has occurred since the first quarter of 2020, which is reflected in the economic growth rate in the first quarter of 2020 which only reached 2.73 percent (y-o-y), and until the fourth quarter of 2020 it still experienced contraction of 2.98 percent (y-o-y). However, the decline in economic performance which also occurred globally could become a momentum for Indonesia to make improvements and catch up, as stated by the President. Fundamental economic reform by carrying out transformation, implementing the right strategy for recovery and future preparedness for similar crisis conditions for all business actors and also the government is the key to strengthening our economic development.
