Profile of Micro and Small Industries in Jawa Barat Province 2024

National economic growth cannot be separated from the role of micro and small‑scale Manufacturing Industries (MSMEs). The ability of MSMEs to adapt and survive amid the dynamic economic conditions, especially in job creation and employment absorption, has become an interesting academic study and has also served as a basis for policy formulation. The government continues to strive to create programs that support MSME activities in order to optimize their contribution to Indonesia’s economy. The establishment of these programs must be supported by up‑to‑date and accurate data and information. The Profile of Micro and Small Industries of Jawa Barat Province 2024 is a publication resulting from the Annual Micro and Small Industry Survey 2024 (VIMK24). The statistical data available in this publication describe the conditions of MSMEs in West Java Province in 2024. The data presented include the number of enterprises, the number of workers, workers’ remuneration, expenditure value, revenue value, capital, business difficulties, business services and guidance, internet usage, and the marketing distribution of MSMEs. These data are presented according to the two‑digit codes of the Indonesian Standard Industrial Classification (KBLI) 2020.
