Preliminary Figure 2007 & Forecast Figure I Production Of Rice, Corn And Soybean In Jawa Barat Province In 2008

Rice production in Jawa Barat Province in 2008 is estimated to reach 10.05 million tons of GKG or increase by 1.34% compared to the Temporary Rate in 2007. The increase in rice production in 2008 is likely due to an increase in harvested area by 2.26 percent. Production of corn and soybean crops in Jawa Barat Province in 2008 is predicted to increase compared to 2007 (preliminary figure), respectively by 2.55 percent and 99.08 percent.
