Fixed Figures 2012 And Figures Forecast I 2013 Production of Rice, Corn & Soybean Jawa Barat Province

Jawa Barat Province's rice production in 2012 reached 11,271,861 tons of dry milled rice (GKG) equivalent to 7,071,965 tons of rice or decreased by -3.11 percent compared to 2011. The decline in rice production in 2012 is due to a decrease of harvested area of ​​-2 , 32 percent from 1,964,466 hectares in 2011 to 1,918,799 hectares in 2012, and a decrease in productivity of -0.81 percent from 59.22 quintals per hectare in 2011 to 58.74 quintals per hectare in 2012. According to Figures Forecast I in 2013, rice production in Jawa Barat is estimated to reach 11,892,500 tons of GKG or equivalent to 7,461,354 tons of rice or an increase of 5.51 percent compared to 2012. The increase in rice production forecast in 2013 is more due to the increase of forecast of harvested area by 2.54 percent and an increase in productivity forecast of 2.89 percent when compared to 2012.
