Poverty Level Of Jawa Barat March 2008

The number of poor (population below the Poverty Line) in Jawa Barat in March 2008 was 5.32 million (13.01 percent). Compared to the same month in the previous year which amounted to 5.46 million (13.55 percent) the number of poor people in 2008 decreased by 0.14 million people. The number of poor people in March 2008 for urban areas was 2.62 million people (10.88 percent) of urban population) while in rural areas 2.71 million people (16.05 percent).
