Poverty Level Of Jawa Barat March 2011

The number of poor (population below the Poverty Line) in Jawa Barat in March 2011 was 4,648,630 people (10.65 percent). Compared to March 2010 which amounted to 4,773,720 people (11.27 percent), the number of poor people in March 2011 decreased by 125,090 people (0.61 percent). The number of poor people in March 2011 for urban areas was 2,654,690 people (9.26 percent of the total urban population) while in rural areas as many as 1,992,930 people (13.32 percent). Jawa Barat poverty line in March 2011 amounted to Rp. 220.098, - or an increase of 9.43 percent compared with the poverty line last year conditions in the same month (Rp 201,138, -). In the span of 12 months occurred year-on-year inflation in March 2011 to March 2010 amounted to 6.12 percent.
