April 2012 Jawa Barat Inflation occurred at 0.15 Percent

April 2012, CPI Combined Jawa Barat covering 7 cities namely Bandung, Cirebon, Tasikmalaya, Bekasi, Bogor, Sukabumi and Depok experienced inflation when compared to the CPI in March 2012 of 0.15 percent. Inflation in 2012 (year to date inflation) reached 0.91 percent, while Joint Inflation Jawa Barat during the last 12 months (April 2012 to April 2011 or year on year) of 4.04 percent. Of the seven groups of household expenditures, five groups experienced inflation, the highest in the food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco category by 0.54 percent, followed by health group 0.28 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel group 0.21 percent, transport, communication & financial services group 0.17 percent, while the lowest inflation occurred in the education, recreation and sports category by 0.07 percent. Meanwhile in the clothing category experienced deflation of 0.32 percent and deflationary food group by 0.09 percent.
