May 2012 Jawa Barat Inflation occurred by 0.03 Percent

May 2012, CPI Combined Jawa Barat covering 7 cities of Bandung, Cirebon, Tasikmalaya, Bekasi, Bogor, Sukabumi and Depok experienced inflation of 0.03 percent, when compared to CPI in April 2012. Inflation year 2012 (year to date inflation) reached 0.94 percent, while Joint Inflation Jawa Barat during the last 12 months (May 2012 to May 2011 or year on year) of 3.95 percent. Of the seven groups of household expenditures, the three groups experienced the highest inflation in the food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco category by 0.56 percent, followed by the health group by 0.20 percent, the clothing group by 0.16 percent, while the other four groups deflation in the foodstuff category by 0.31 percent, transport, communications & financial services by 0.05 percent and housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel and education, recreation and sports groups experienced a similar deflation of 0 , 01 percent.
