August 2012 Jawa Barat Inflation occurred 1.03 Percent

CPI Combined Jawa Barat covering 7 cities of Bandung, Cirebon, Tasikmalaya, Bekasi, Bogor, Sukabumi and Depok experienced inflation of 1.03 percent in August 2012, when compared to CPI in July 2012. Thus recorded inflation during 2012 (January -August) or year to date reached 3.53 percent and inflation year-on-year over the last twelve months or year on year by 4.89 percent. Of the seven household expenditure groups, all in August it was inflation. The highest inflation occurred in the education, recreation and sports category of 2.95 percent, followed by the foodstuff category of 1.58 percent, the transport, communication & financial services group by 1.24 percent, the clothing group 0.90 percent, the finished food group, beverages, cigarettes & tobacco 0.56 percent, health group 0.28 percent, and lowest inflation in housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel by 0.22 percent.
