February 2013, Open Unemployment Rate in Jawa Barat of 8.90 Percent

Jawa Barat has increased the number of labor force. In February 2013 the labor force amounted to 20,388,637 people, while in February 2012 as many as 20,138,658 people, or an increase of 249,979 people in the period of one year. The number of people working in Jawa Barat in February 2013 also increased compared to February 2012. In February 2013 the working population was recorded at 18,573,371 people, an increase of 403,719 people compared to February last year of 18,169,652 people. During the period of one year there was a decline in the number of unemployed as many as 153,740 person. In February 2012 the unemployed in Jawa Barat reached 1,969,006 people, while in February 2013 there were unemployed 1,815,266 people. The Jawa Barat Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) decreased by 0.88 percent from 9.78 percent in February 2012, to 8.90 percent in February 2013.
