Food Logistic Indicators Analysis in Jawa Barat Province 2017

Rice commodities and their availability are important topics that are in the public spotlight. The availability of rice as the staple food of the Indonesian population, especially Jawa Barat requires attention and handling by the government. The description of food logistics conditions in Jawa Barat is reflected in the statistical indicators related to the food sector. Food security can be seen from the data of rice / rice production covering the land area and productivity of rice plants. Food availability includes domestic products and imports from abroad if needed so that food needs are met. Food needs are reflected in population, price changes and population consumption patterns. These indicators are presented in this publication to see concise information and analysis of the interrelationship between indicators and can be used as a basis for planning, monitoring and evaluating government programs in realizing sovereignty, independence and food security in Indonesia, especially in Jawa Barat Province.
